Recent Council Meeting Materials Available
The Council on Virginia's Future last met on December 8, 2009. All materials from the meeting, including summary minutes, are now available.
Council, Virginia Performs Win Prestigious Awards
The Council on Virginia's Future has been honored with the 2009 Excellence in Virginia Government Award (EVGA) for Innovation in Government. Now in its fifth year, the EVGA awards are presented by the L. Douglas Wilder School for Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University to "celebrate the accomplishments of Virginians who have made distinctive contributions to the practice of government and to the well-being of our communities."

In late October Virginia Performs, a signature initiative of the Council on Virginia’s Future and the state’s performance leadership and accountability system, was awarded the 2009 NASCIO Award for Outstanding IT Achievement -- Data, Information and Knowledge Management category.

Hampton Roads Performs is a performance site that focuses on the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. A collaborative project between the Council on Virginia's Future and the Hampton Roads Partnership, the site shows how well the region is doing on a broad array of indicators; many of these measures are aligned with Virginia Performs, while others are unique to the region.
